Streaming on Hulu.

Premiere: SXSW 2017.

Reviews: Variety, Collider, IndieWire.

The story is George Lazenby’s tall tales about growing up on the wrong side of the tracks in Australia, following a love to London, becoming a male model and getting cast as James Bond.

The film is a single interview with Lazenby elaborated by extensive comedy recreations. Given all of these possibly-true events occurred in the 50s and 60s, we were able to work in a number of pop styles from those decades.

What seemed to keep coming up in the film was a certain audaciousness with how Lazenby approached situations. This spirit found its way into many of the score’s cues, where things seem about to teeter out of control.
